Since moving to Diamond Valley in 2014 to care for my parents, I’ve been quietly working to shape our town’s future—bringing global experience, local heart, and a deep commitment to service.

My journey began with a simple community cleanup. That day, I didn’t just pick up debris—I picked up stories, history, and a sense of purpose. I learned that real change starts with showing up and listening.

As your councillor, I’ve focused on:

  • Transparent governance
  • Smart growth & housing
  • Strong infrastructure
  • Recreation & emergency services

I love this community—and I’m committed to making Diamond Valley the place to live life in southern Alberta.

Why I Ran—and Why I’m Still Here

Serving Diamond Valley since the amalgamation has been an incredible journey. This Council has worked hard—look at our 250+ page agenda packages!

  • We’ve focused on building a strong foundation for the future through smart bylaws and strategic planning.
  • We’ve strengthened public safety—enhancing Fire Rescue, Community Peace Officers, and RCMP support.
  • We’ve invested in infrastructure—repairing utilities and upgrading key roads like 1st Ave NW and Frontenac Ave.
  • We've minimized budget increases through sound judgment, even when inflationary elements have been beyond our control.
  • We’ve improved recreation—upgrading the ice plant, outdoor pool, and launching a fantastic disc golf course.

One major milestone: Diamond Valley’s first Municipal Development Plan—a bold, community-driven vision for our future. With development applications pouring in, we’re ready to grow strategically and sustainably.

Beyond Council duties, I’ve served on:

  • Foothills Regional Emergency Services Commission (advocating for better EMS response)
  • Economic Development Advisory Committee
  • Emergency Advisory Committee

I’m here because I believe in this town—and I’m committed to making Diamond Valley the best place to live life in southern Alberta.
